We've only started with Joel but it is evident he knows what he is doing. As soon as he came in to observe our dog, he was automatically able to tell us what we should and shouldn't be doing with her while explaining why. I'm excited to see how Bella progresses with Joel's training. Would highly recommend if your looking to get your dog trained. I've had previous dog trainers with my family dog and It is clear Joel knows what he is doing.

Joel was incredible! I have a 50 lb. dog who I couldn't walk bc she pulled so hard on the leash. In the very first session Joel had her walking calmly right next to him and not pulling! He also trained me the same day. The follow up sessions reinforced our training and added other commands to make life with a dog even better. Now I take Murphy for a walk every day with no problems. If you are looking for a great dog trainer, hire Joel.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will do an unlimited number of thirty minute training sessions, until the client is satisfied with the results. The exception is when a dog has been diagnosed with a Neurosis and is referred to a Veterinarian for treatment.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first do a Behavioral Evaluation in order to see what the real issues are and make a plan to resolve them in the kindest and most gentle way!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Of course, hands on training is the best teacher. However, I am CPDT-KA and CCPDT-KA certified & a member of of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). Also, I am constantly studying videos and other training media to enhance my skills!
