FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I tailor my price to the customer's needs, and price competitively to give clients a great bargain.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with a client by consulting with them to get an idea of what they need, and often research good locations for portrait sessions. Upon completion of a session, whether it be portraits, weddings or non-wedding events, I explain my turnaround time to clients. Upon completion of a wedding, portrait session or event, I edit the photos, and immediately notify the client when I post their photos to my client page. I also immediately send via priority mail their flash drive with high resolution digital copies of their edited photos. Payment is due on the day of photography. The only type of photography I where I require a deposit is wedding photography. A deposit for wedding photography is 20% of the total investment. I value good communication with my clients. I do my best to give clients a clear picture, no pun intended, of what I'm doing every step of the way. Here is the bottom line, however: I know how to wing it when necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught, with a wealth of experience. My first photography work on any professional level was 40 years ago when I was a senior in high school making photos for the yearbook. I'm always researching my field of photography, and editing of photographs. I also experiment with different lighting and camera settings.
