My partner and I were at our wits end trying to replace a broken attic ladder arm that had rusted away. We didn’t think we could get all of the replacement parts that were necessary (after failing to find a way to remove the broken arm), and we were getting ready to replace the entire attic door (~$300, not including the labor to install it). I decided to take a risk and check to see if anyone on thumbtack might be open to looking at it. Nickolay looked at the photos and quickly assured us that he could handle it. So we ordered the new arms (at about ~$60), and he came by a few days later. Nickolay did an excellent job, and was able to replace the broken arm (and the other one that was on its way out) in about an hour. Nickolay saved us a ton of money and effort, and we are so grateful. Highly recommend! We plan to use him again for our future handyman needs.

Like everyone else, I was extremely pleased with Nikolai’s work. I called him in the morning to see if he could come fix my clogged bathroom sink and running toilet and he arrived just a few hours later.
