FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
See our previous response about cost. It's not complicated, and our prices can be quite competitive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we assess the client's needs by listening to them, isolating and defining the problem, and determining the client's preference for a solution. Then, we discuss the services needed to reach that solution. Once the client has an understanding of the available services, we prepare a General Contract for Services and Retainer Agreement specifically identifying the client's objective and itemizing the costs of the services requested by the client. Once the client has reviewed the contract (with their legal counsel if they so desire) and we have agreed on any changes, both parties sign the contract. After the contract has been signed and the customer has paid the specified amount of retainer, we begin the work outlined in the contract. In many investigations, the initial retainer only covers a portion of the services in the contract, so additional retainer is required as the investigation moves forward and the client chooses to have additional work completed.
