Jeff is a fantastic teacher with a great attitude. He is very encouraging and conscious of making the lessons fun, but with a very solid base in technique and theory which is perfect for a complete beginner like myself. Thoroughly enjoying the learning process so far! Highly recommended.

I took guitar lessons from Jeff for a while back in the 90's. I've recently started taking lessons from him again. He's a fantastic musician and teacher. Couple that with being a very cool, laid back person and you have Jeff. It doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner or an advanced player who needs work on your theory, he can help you to improve. I've been playing on and off for 35 years and had many guitar instructors. Jeff is one of only TWO that I recommend without hesitation. Give him a call, you won't regret it.

I started taking lessons from Jeff when I was a shy nine year old girl and he was always patient with me even if I got frustrated, and always taught me anything that I wanted to learn. He is a superb guitar player and teacher, as well as a superb and laid back person. I would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

I have worked with Jeff for several years and gone from marginal playing being able to do a few public performances in a band. He really knows his stuff!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Beginner Guitar Lessons For beginner guitar students, we’ll focus on laying a strong foundation, including exercises to build finger strength and coordination, mastering basic chords and scales, and learning to read tablature. You’ll also receive an introduction to music theory and guidance on developing good practice habits and discipline. For Intermediate and Advanced Guitar Lessons If you’re an intermediate or advanced guitarist, I’ll evaluate your current skill level and formulate a lesson plan to further enhance your abilities. This may include diving deeper into music theory, refining your technique, exploring writing and composition, and mastering advanced soloing techniques, including improvisation.
