Very respectful, responsible young man. Marlow took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and he went the extra mile. All pictures were beautifully hung and he made installation of curtain rods look simple, after my many failed attempts. He is truly a blessing.

Marlin installed a cabinet/trash can system in my kitchen for today after removing my old one that had stopped working. Marlin purchased the new unit from a local hardware store. I am very happy with Marlins work and will use him again for future work that I need. Marlin is punctual, professional, efficient, result oriented and extremely organized. Updated Review: Unreliable and Unprofessional Service After initially posting a glowing review of Marlin’s work assembling our 10x13 gazebo, I feel compelled to update my experience to reflect his lack of follow-through and unprofessional conduct. Initially, Marlin seemed knowledgeable and pleasant, but when it came to honoring his commitment, he fell short. He had promised, both verbally and in writing on Thumbtack, to return and help us disassemble the gazebo at no additional charge. However, when the time came, Marlin was nowhere to be found. Despite reaching out multiple times—both through the Thumbtack portal and directly via text—Marlin did not respond to our messages. It was radio silence for months. We even followed up to check on his availability and well-being, giving him every chance to uphold his promise, but he never bothered to reply. This lack of communication and disregard for his commitment reveals a serious lack of professionalism and reliability. For us, integrity is everything. If he was unable or unwilling to follow through, a simple response would have been enough. Instead, we were left feeling frustrated and disappointed by his silence. In addition to the broken promise, Marlin’s initial approach to the project raised some doubts. Despite being sent instructions for the gazebo in advance, he spent a considerable amount of time on-site studying the materials as though he hadn’t prepared. My husband even commented that it looked like he was struggling to interpret basic assembly instructions. If you’re looking for a service provider who is dependable and professional, I would strongly advise caution before hiring Marlin. Although his initial work may seem satisfactory, his failure to communicate and keep his word leaves a lot to be desired. For the money we spent, we expected better treatment and respect as customers. This experience left us feeling that our time and money were wasted. Unfortunately, Marlin’s disregard for professionalism overshadowed any positives from our initial experience. We entrusted him with this project in good faith, only to be met with broken promises and silence. For anyone considering his services, think twice if reliability and accountability matter to you.
