- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My Pricing is based on the amount of time I believe an installation will take. I have multiple tiers of Pricing and try to work with my customers to provide them the value they deserve at a price they can afford.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to make the initial contact with my customers over the phone. Depending on the job I can sometimes give them an estimate over the phone. Other times it's best to set up an onsite estimate in order to discuss safety considerations, customer preferences, work flow, and pricing options. Once the estimate is completed I put in the material order and file for a permit if necessary. Depending on the installation there may be one or more inspections once the work is complete. I work with my customers to set up a time that's most convenient for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a NC limited electrical license and have even taught classes on the national electrical code. Every year I find some interesting continuing education course to keep my license active.
