Introduction

As a dedicated yoga teacher and wellness guide, my mission is to create personalized transformative experiences that nurture your body, mind, and spirit. By bringing yoga directly into my clients’ homes and at your events, I cultivate a space for self discovery and wholistic well-being. For events, I will come to you and we will practice in the space of your choosing. I will bring props and essential oils to support the yoga practice, and can bring additional supplies if needed (think flowers or champagne for afterwards!). For one-on-one yoga coaching, we write down your goals and a timeline for achieving them. Each session, we check in with your individual goals and whether you have made progress towards them. I have 3 and 6-session packages available at a discount. Since 2019, I have helped clients just like you create a home yoga and mindfulness practice that strengthens your connection to your intuition, so that you can navigate life’s uncertainties with strength, grace, and joy. I believe it is every person's right to thrive, and it's an honor to assist you in cultivating wellness!

Marie was amazing in every way! We hired her to instruct a yoga class the morning of a wedding. She arrived early, brought mats, and exuded professionalism and friendliness! Her class was a perfect balance of meditative, relaxing, and challenging. She was very respectful of our different skill levels (we had everything from never done yoga to a past yoga instructor!) and made sure to look out for those who needed modifications or guidance. Very easy to communicate with her and simply a pleasure to have met her and started off such a big day with her yoga expertise! I would highly recommend Spectrum Yoga for any sort of event in terms of value, professionalism, and above all, enjoyment!

I was pleased to work at home. The routine was adjusted to my challenges. Both sessions were on time and paced to the time available. All needed equipment was provided. Suggestions for self paced movements were provided. If I return to Asheville I will use Spectrum again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer 3, 6, and 9 session packages for my yoga coaching clients, to encourage you to get the most out of your time working with me. I find that if your work with me is time-limited, you are more motivated to begin the habit of practicing at home. The more committed you are to practicing at home, the more quickly you will meet your goals! Pricing structures for group classes are listed on my Thumbtack profile 🧘🏻‍♀️
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Spectrum Yoga is an integrated system of physical asana practice, emotional support, and goal setting. We begin our first session with a domains assessment, which helps us to identify what you need out of your yoga practice. I help you edit your goals so that they are measurable, and together we create a tracking document that you will use while working with me to track your progress towards your identified goals. Our sessions moving forward are yoga classes, 1 to 1.5 hours long. I use a combination of physical asana (poses), formal meditation practice, visualization, and chanting in my teaching.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My teaching is Subtle Yoga-inspired. I completed my 200-hour training through Subtle Yoga Teacher Training and Personal Transformation Program in Asheville, NC in 2010. I completed my 500-hour yoga teacher training certification with Subtle Yoga in 2020. I teach to the whole person, with the knowledge that all of us have been traumatized in one way or another. I specialize in teaching students in recovery from mental health diagnoses and addictions. My teaching is trauma-informed.
