- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We like to do an in-home estimate to customize the cleaning plan based on what you, the customer, would like us to do in each room. Every home is different. Our pricing is based on square footage, number of bathrooms, specific things you want done, and frequency of cleaning. We can give you a range quote, which our in home estimator can customize into a firm quote on a walk through with you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our cleaners are fully trained for 25 hours in cleaning techniques, safety, how to run their own business, and in customer service skills.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a busy professional, I have long relied on house cleaners to keep my home clean. After a long year career running biotech companies in the US and overseas, I decided it was time to start my own business, and I chose Maid Right because it is a great business model. I also love the idea of helping people, who might not otherwise be able to, get their cleaning business off the ground. However, I moved back to NC to start the company here in order to be closer to my family; my mother, sister and two daughters all live in Durham and Chapel Hill. I have always been a customer-focused business person and working in the the medical field taught me a lot about the meaning of true quality and customer service. We are bringing the similar values to our residential housecleaning company.
