Introduction
My work stands out because I stand behind it. One example is that there was an inspection that I had done everything tested well on the home and it was a clean report. The new home owner called me up very upset that the heat did not work, I went over to the new home and it turned out that he did not understand how to work his new thermostat we spent almost an hour going over all the functions and features of his equipment and how to get the most out of it in the end there was nothing wrong but I was able to give a great education on the features of his home. The best part of being a Home Inspector in North Carolina, are the great people that you get to meet everyday. Then also knowing that my knowledge and experience can help you in making one of the largest decisions that you will make a little easier with a wealth of knowledge.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Every year North Carolina requires us to attend continuing education to maintain our license. I make sure that I exceed the requirements and make sure that I always stay on top of all the changing trends in Home Construction.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

It is going to sound a bit Cliche. However, I really do enjoy helping people and being part of the process to find the right home for them. It is a very important decision in life, and one that needs to be made carefully and with every bit of information you can. I take a lot of satisfaction in helping provide that information for people.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions before you hire your home inspector. Remember this person is going to do an evaluation on your future home, you need to know that you are going to trust this individual and that they are going to give you a fair and unbiased report. I have a lot of good competition who produce a quality report and will educate you on your future home, much like I will, and there are some home inspectors that will not. The best is to ask questions and know what you are getting before you commit.
