I’ve been in business since 1996. I learned to tune and work on pianos from the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology. I do a complete inspection before any work is performed. I tighten plate screws and bolts. I also lubricate the string bearing points if needed to help the piano hold tune better.

I am more than happy to recommend Tyner’s Piano to tune your yours. Doug immediately responded to my inquiry, sending me information and scheduling an appointment. He arrived on time and without extra directions, with a text update on the way. After checking out our piano, he advised what our needs were, both immediate and future, giving us the choice of what he would do this visit. Then he went to work tuning. His price was more than reasonable. I texted his information to our daughter & she has already booked an appointment. It's rare these days to find a contractor that is on time, competent, and reasonable. That's Tyner's. Highly recommend!!

Mr. Tyner gave me an evaluation of the piano's condition before he started tuning and told me what to expect for such an old instrument. He tuned it for 90 minutes, and it sounds great. Highly recommended.

He was very honest, friendly and knowdeable. His attention to detail found a small broken part which prevented him from tuning my piano. He could have tuned it, charged me more, and left. But he didnt. And I probably would have had bigger problems. Recommend.
