We were looking for quotes for an addition. I had reached out to several architectural businesses that were advertised as free estimates. When Jamar came to our appointment he was under the impression that we were hiring him. Once I explained we were getting quotes he stated he wouldn’t have come then due to the 30 minute drive. He then requested that we pay him for the thumbtack lead and gas money. Very disappointed at how it went down and the fact I left work early for an afternoon appointment which ended up being a complete waste of time. I’d suggest contacting lead prior to just coming so both parties are on the same page.
