FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, there is no "standard". I am a competitively priced photographer/videographer, and always aware of what the services we provide for our clients are worth. Every job is completely different--the variations are endless. For the price that you will pay for my studio and me, you will get an extremely high quality product, and a willing attitude. I will do my best effort to meet your budgetary needs. Just like in every business, "you get what you pay for", and I pride myself in giving an extremely well crafted service to my clients. If this costs just a little bit more, it is worth it tenfold!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer, more than anything, to be able to either talk with new customers over the phone. And after that, a face-to-face meeting is extremely helpful for both parties. E-mail is so anonymous! Our business is a service one, and that chemistry communicates so much better in person. During the beginning stages of our relationship, I try to be very clear and transparent with my customers as to my working methods--what I will be doing, how much I will be charging, and how long the process will take. I enjoy the collaboration between customer and photographer/filmmaker.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Throughout the year, I take various workshops in new technology so that I am current and fresh. Lynda.com is a site I use to learn new techniques, such as familiarity with CGI, and how to use new film editing software. . I also learn A LOT from the freelancers whom I hire.
