I am an ordained minister with Spirit of Love Ministry based in Charlotte, NC. I keep things simple but I also try to make it a memorable moment for the couple. Can’t say enough about the great experience we had hiring David to be our officiant! He was easy to communicate with and flexible when I needed to change my date and location. He made time for a call to discuss our details. He sent us a ceremony script and was flexible when I wrote my own, and delivered it perfectly! The day of the wedding, he was early, well dressed and extremely easy to talk to and professional. I won’t need another wedding officiant but I’ll be referring him to anyone else I know who needs one!

All of the phenomenal reviews you see regarding David are spot-on! (Including this one.) My husband and I had to get our marriage license prior to moving to the UK, but could not wait several months to get married at the courthouse. We contacted David and he was able to schedule us at the exact date/time/place requested. He was extremely flexible, communicative, and helpful in answering all our questions. When it came to the wedding day, he arrived a few minutes early to walk us through the steps of the ceremony and then he delivered a beautiful speech before we said our vows and married us. All said and done, the ceremony was less than 30 minutes, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Thank you, David, for your kindness, professionalism, and time!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $170 for the ceremony and $30 for travel related costs so in total it is $200.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally, I will check your IDs to verify your age and identity. Then I have a basic, quick script that I use to confirm both parties intention to marry (the I do's), ring exchange (if desired) and the pronouncement of marriage. Then I sign your marriage license and the copy for vital records, along with the two witnesses.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained minister with the Spirit of Love Ministry in North Carolina. I have a certificate of ordination that is included in the photos on my profile. I have the authority to preside over any "religious, sacred, or ceremonial ritual, including marriage, christenings, and blessings."
