- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The base price for the wedding includes a face to face consultation . It's important to have a conversation to discuss the type of wedding ceremony the couple is looking for. There is an up charge for the rehearsal. There is an up charge for travel over 20 miles There is an up charge for ceremonies starting over 15 minutes late Another issue recently raised is the license. I have to remind some couples they are responsible for securing the license.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to meet with the couple and get a feel for what they want and expect in a wedding ceremony. After the contract is signed, then it's time to carefully review the different ceremonies available as well as to investigate adding special features such as a sand ceremony, God's knot, wine, lasso and more. I also give advise that there should be a rehearsal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a faith filled person my whole life. I attended many weddings as a helper before becoming an Officiant 12 years ago
