- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, I have developed a strong set of skills that are highly beneficial to event planning and coordination, including: *Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in planning and executing events. *Time Management: Effectively managing schedules and deadlines. *Problem-Solving: Quickly addressing and resolving issues that arise. *Communication: Clearly and efficiently communicating with clients, vendors, and guests. *Multitasking: Handling multiple tasks simultaneously, which is essential for managing events. *Calm Under Pressure: Staying composed and focused during high-stress situations. (Working in the ER helped) In addition to my nursing background, I am certified as an accredited Event designer by the Institute of Wedding and Event Design (IWED). Additionally, I have also received a certificate from the “Pick PEP’s Brain” workshop, hosted by Khadidra Muhammad of Priceless Event Planning and am a “graduate of the “Decor Lab School” of Balloons.
