- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our goal is to make the process of planning your event as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We typically start with an initial consultation to learn more about your vision - expected number of guests, venue details, date/time, any dietary needs, and the overall vibe you want to create. After the intake meeting, we'll begin crafting a custom proposal with menu recommendations that align with your tastes and budget. As we get closer to the event date, we'll check in periodically to see if any details have changed and to maintain open communication. The week of your event, we'll confirm all menu items, rental needs, and timing. Our team will handle all food preparation, cook on-site if possible, keep your dishes replenished, and clean up so you can simply relax and enjoy your event. We'll work closely with you from start to finish to ensure your complete satisfaction. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Food and hospitality have been passions of ours since childhood. We both trained at culinary school, which is where we met and our catering venture was born. Chef Porsche brings experience as a health inspector and food service consultant, having ensured compliance and high standards at numerous establishments. She has also independently catered small events over the years. Chef Alex has a background in health sciences operations, but has since transitioned fully to catering and teaching cooking classes around the Charlotte metro area. We both love learning and are constantly expanding our knowledge. Our diverse experiences allow us to anticipate clients' needs, meet high standards, and deliver exceptional events.
