In addition to my planning services, I also provide day-of coordination services, which are billed hourly and range from 10 to 12 hours on the day of the event. For clients seeking consultations, I charge a fixed fee of $300, which includes a one-hour consultation and a detailed plan with vendor research and venue recommendations. However, clients should have their maximum budget, general location, and event concept ready before the consultation to ensure we make the most of our time together. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I hold a concise consultation to identify their needs, maximum budget, general location, and desired event concept. From there, I gain a clear understanding of the audience they aim to entertain and the atmosphere they wish to establish. After our call, I immediately create an event brief for the client's review, then proceed with vendor research, venue selection, and decor options. A comprehensive mood board is then presented to the client, and we establish firm timelines to complete all necessary tasks. Day-of coordination is secured at the outset to ensure the date remains available for me. Thereafter, we work closely together to complete invoices, coordinate schedules, attend tastings, and meet vendors as required. I take charge of the entire process, providing the client with a seamless, stress-free experience.
