Several years ago, Mr. Powley replaced the carpet in a rental building that I own in Belmont, NC. Because it is is currently being used as a day care facility, Mr Powley worked during the off hours to avoid disrupting the day care operation. I was so pleased with the cost, quality, and timely response that when I needed to replace the floors in my North Florida residence, I called Mr. Powley. He not only guided me through the decision on which type of wood floors I would need, he saved me a couple thousand dollars by directing me to the most cost effective source for purchasing the wood flooring. He drove to Florida and installed the floors. I am completely satisfied with his work and recommend him to you for your flooring needs without hesitation.

I was referred to Mike by a girlfriend whose realtor referred him for updates to her home she was putting on the market. We had a flood in late Jan. I had about 1000 sq ft. of laminate that needed to be replaced. I had carpet that needed to be pulled up and discarded as well as laminate and a lot of furniture that needed to be moved around. The fact that this father, son and wife team got this done in two days and didn't leave any mess to be found is amazing. Mike says he provides a year warranty on labor. Well we were happy with the floors but felt that some of the transition pieces to the ceramic tile wasn't on well and we also saw some glue coming out of one; this was probably three weeks after the job was done. My husband called Mike and within 2-3 days he came out to fix the issue. Class act. I'm getting ready to build a custom home and hope to use Mike for that as well.

Mike Powley installed over 600 feet of Allure flooring in our Charlotte house that we were planning to sell. Flooring was installed in the living room, kitchen, and all bathrooms. Mike's bidding process was very transparent and professional; one of the best I've encountered. We had a tenant in our house for over 5 yrs so the condition was not great. Mike assessed the situation and determined the amount of baseboards we needed replaced (due to tenant's pet damage) Considering the condition the house was in, I consider Mike a miracle worker! The results were simply beautiful and added so much value to the house! Based on Mike's integrity, competitive pricing, and professionalism we recommend him without reservation. It's not everyday you find a flooring contractor like Mike and we're glad we did!

I am a third generation flooring installer. I have been on jobs as long as I could walk with my Grandfather and Dad and now I have passed it on with my son. Hopefully one day I will be able to teach my Grandson to lay floors as well.
