DJ Mike D/Recognize Soundz Production is such a great DJ to work with for your birthday. The first time I met DJ Mike D I knew right away that he was going to be perfect to have as the DJ for my oldest sister "Motown 60th Birthday." I met with DJ Mike D and what he does is he gets to know the people he's working with, and he goes over everything-every detail with you from start to finish. I really enjoyed the "creativity session" where you can start to really envision the birthday party and see it come together. DJ Mike D, I highly recommend to anyone. DJ Mike D really knows how to go beyond the extra mile and I were very impressed and pleased with his service. I can't say enough good things about DJ Mike D. He did an outstanding job and my sister guests had an exhilarating evening. My oldest sister birthday party couldn't have been any better and the music choices made a great 'Motown " atmosphere. I especially appreciated him playing all the "Motown" music I asked for and added additional songs that were perfect. My sister guests was on the dance floor when every song played. I received excellent service from DJ Mike D. He was professional from start to end. He made the planning fun by asking questions about the purpose of the event. He made excellent song suggestions. He took my requests and the suggestions he made, and I agreed on, magical. The arrangements of songs were touching. The timing of each song was on point. His price was great for what I wanted. He even took special requests from some of my special guests. I recommend him highly.

Mike D Dj'd my wedding. We had a very small ceremony and it even rained! His quality of work and professionalism was outstanding! The music was Exactly what we requested and there was no "awkward silence". I would recommend his services to anyone!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My lowest package can start as low as $300 . My wedding ceremony plus reception can range from $475 and higher depending on number or hours for the event. A wedding reception only fee can start as low as $400 and higher depending on hours of the event. All other events can start as low as $300 and higher depending on the amount of hours as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do an initial consult to find out exactly what my customers are expecting from my service. I always find out what type of budget they have and go from there help making their dream event come true with selected music of their choice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 25+ years of professional skilled DJ experience spinning a wide variety types of music.
