Introduction
My name is Daniel Hall. I’ve been a professional drummer in the North Carolina for the past 25 years. I’ve toured all through the United States, Europe and Canada. I was a founding and longtime member of the band Old Ceremony. Toured with Chatham County Line for five years. Current member of the Onyx Club Boys and Danger Hall. Done multiple tours with Sandra Bernhard and Judy Collins. I currently have a private teaching practice. I’m passionate about music and drumming, and I would love to share that with all who are interested. I believe in fundamentals and helping you find your own voice on the instrument. I have a teaching studio in my home. I’m also willing to travel to the student and am available for online lessons as well.

Dan Hall is a great drum teacher! I didn’t have a background in drums and Dan was patient and met me where I was. He made music fun and accessible, I can play songs now! I recommend him unreservedly whether you are a beginner or more advanced.

Daniel is an excellent teacher for my 12 year old up-and-coming drummer. He teaches him the fundamentals of technique and rhythm, while also teaching him his favorite rock songs. Daniel is an amazing professional drummer in his own right, and he brings his expertise and enthusiasm to his teaching practice. My son has grown tremendously as a drummer since studying with Daniel. Highly recommended!

Dan taught our seven-year-old son and immediately created a warm, encouraging space for him to learn. Dan is not only a master of his instrument, but also a source of patience, kindness, and wisdom that is a hard combination to find!
