Choosing a caterer was a big decision for us, and our timeline was short. An Affair to Remember came through in a big way and we were absolutely thrilled with all aspects of their service. We went with nearly all of of their menu suggestions and the food was fantastic, the service was impeccable. They handled our 150 guest and rustic farmhouse wedding venue with style and grace. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend An Affair to Remember for any event, large or small!

Carmen was amazing. She was extremely sweet very responsive and also caring. She made sure I had no issue pertaining to my special day. She wanted everything to run just as smooth as I did. I didn’t stress one bit on my wedding day because of her. Everything was perfect I can’t thank you enough for the outcome of the catering service and set up. If there is anyone you want to caterer for an event I wouldn’t recommend anyone better than Carmen herself. She was just truly amazing !

I would recommend Carmen Connor, owner of An Affair to Remember, to anyone wanting to have an extraordinary event! On May 17, I had my son's wedding rehearsal in the Concord area and it turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Carmen went above and beyond as a caterer. Not only was the food DELICIOUS, but she offered many suggestions, supplies, decorations, and help for our event to be PERFECT! This lady is very genuine, easy to work with, and willing to do whatever it takes to make your occasion special and unique. I not only had a wonderful caterer, but now I have a new friend! The whole experience was incredible!

Carmen Connor and her servers contributed to a lovely wedding for our daughter. Carmen was warm and personable to work with and plan the event and had many great ideas and suggestions and made the planning process enjoyable and very affordable. The food was highly praised by our wedding guests and the service her staff provided was also praised! Carmen and her team from An Affair to Remember did a spectacular job catering our wedding!! She listened and applied every single request from my husband and me and all of the food turned our perfectly. We had numerous guests and family members tell us how delicious everything was, and the displays were wonderful! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are determined on a client by client basis. It depends on how much and how many services I provide.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My initial contact with a client is usually by text or email. Then we schedule a call when we can talk without distractions. We set-up the first of many meetings about food, decor and/or floral. I have clients that I meet with 10 or 15 times and some that I meet for the first time on the wedding day!! It's just about what the bride, groom or couple wants.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend all the bridal shows I can and read all the latest magazines. There is a trade show (food and wine) that I attend almost every year. I am Safe-Serv certified and myself and bartenders are certified as well. I have 45 years experience in the kitchen and actually made my first biscuits from scratch in my great-grandmother's kitchen at the age of 4!!! I don't just make "fancy" food, I make great food!
