Angier K9 Consultants as a company offers many different services including dog training, service dog training, therapy dog training, and dog walking. Every breed of dog was designed for a different job and each of these breeds come with their own challenges due to a lot of their natural instincts. Over the years we have worked with many different breeds including a lot of working breeds that are misunderstood due to the way that they may react to different situations. Our goal is to help teach people how to use their dog's natural instincts to train them into the dog that they can have for many years and this is why we customize every training that we do based on your dog’s breed and instincts “One of a kind training for your one of a kind dog”

These guys are amazing!! Was having terrible issues with my dog pulling despite having gone to a board and train twice. They were able to quickly correct this bad habit while maintaining a great relationship with my pup. I would undoubtedly recommend them to anyone looking for dog training :)

They are amazing and patient. We have been working with them for about 4 months now and my dog has learned a lot. He is a 90 lb puppy so him behaving is a must. I have taken him out in public and he is not chasing or barking at other people or dogs which is great. We still have a ways to go but I look forward to the progress!

I hired Angier K9 Consultants after considerable research and it has been a pleasure and a relief! My dog, a 7 month old Springer Spaniel/ Poodle is a high energy teenager. She was an easy going, “perfect” puppy, then started ignoring commands, charging the door, pulling on leash, barking and jumping on people. From the first it was clear that the dog was not the problem! I had a lot to learn. Christian immediately had her attention and cooperation. His instructions are clear and accompanied by explanations of dog behaviors that I found most helpful in identifying what I need to change in my approach. Christian is easy to work with and willing to modify his program to address some problems up front to meet my immediate concerns. This was something other trainers were not able/ willing to offer. Another valuable aspect of the Angier K9 program program is going out into the community with the trainer to ensure good behavior no matter where you go with your dog. We are still in training and I am very happy with the progress. My dog is also very happy. She obviously loves working with Christian and having a “job.” I highly recommend Angier K9 Consultants!

We hired Christian to help us train our Husky pup, Elijah. Elijah was very skittish when we got him, but in a few short weeks of working with Christian, he has gained confidence and is learning commands quickly. Christian is very professional and knowledgeable about all things related to dogs and dog training. He’s always willing to answer any questions we have and is very patient when explaining how to continue our “homework” with Elijah in between training lessons. We highly recommend him to anyone looking to get their dog trained. We’ve already seen so much improvement, but look forward to seeing what more Elijah will learn in the weeks and months to come.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have many different prebuilt packages for different average situations and all custom packages are based on a per session price. If you live in our local area you will receive a 15% discount on our training services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically complete an in home consultation first. From there I build a customized training plan depending on the dog’s natural instincts, personal needs, and if there is a specific skill that the pet parent wants the dog to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have learned from many different experienced dog trainers over the years and completed canine behavior education.
