- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My boarding fee is similar to hotel fees. It doesn't matter what time you drop off (check-in) your dog, you'll pay for that day of boarding. On the day you pick up (check-out) your dog, I do not charge for that day if you pick up by noon.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers need to provide current vaccination records. I ask questions about how a normal day goes at their home with their dog. I get details of their dog's diet or any medications. I examine their dog to see if it has any sores, skin conditions, matting, joint issues, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in business since 1998. No formal training, just self- taught by reading, watching videos, asking professionals questions, shadowing well experienced people already in business and well respected. Some online training and testing.
