FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mowing prices by yard size: Medium 1000-3000=$35 Large over 3000= starts at $45 and depends on actual size of the yard **if the grass is real long the price may go up do to the difficulty and it's harder on the mower, sometimes even requires to mow over it twice and bag it. It may make a $30 yard a $40-50 yard if it requires that much extra work. I try to be as fair with my prices as possible. Other work: $30 a hour
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When it comes to a new customer it's always nice to meet in person, exchange phone numbers or emails so we can reach out to one another if need be, and go over any questions they may have for me or I may have for them. Find out exactly what they want and expect and get a schedule worked out that works for everyone
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked with and still talk to the owners of T and T gardens. Worked for them for 11yrs. Companies been around for over 20 years, and the owners still go to school constantly learning new things and have multiple degrees. Part of my job working for them was landscaping and mowing the lawn of Eden Seminary, a couple of cemeteries, and lots of residential properties. Our works been in Garden magazine for what we did at Eden. I've been in business for myself now for 9 years, giving me 20 years of experience.
