I contacted Floor Coverings international to lay carpet after Empire Flooring installers failed to shownup for two installs after three weeks of waiting. Chip was here in an hour to help me and made sure to fit me in that week as we had been displaced for three weeks. We found a great carpet in stock and they installed same week. The installer Terry was amazing. He was so kind and when he left we all knew we made the right decision. I have already sent this company to friends in case they need new flooring. Put your money i to companies like this versus Lowes, Home Depot or Empire. You are working with a great family!

I worked mainly with Scott throughout. Floor Coverings is symbolic of great American era where once we had great customer service, and somehow it vanished when the big box retailers started hiring low cost anonymized contractors to grab sections of an industry that required customer service, and they did not have any expertise.Floor Coverings International is nothing like those companies. It is a small agile company that knows what they do, and they communicate really well. Granted there will always be some issues, but it's important how you communicate these issues with the customer and treat the customer respectfully. And that's what Scott and Mike know how to do best.As for the actual work, they do not compromise on expertise and quality. They bring the finest material they get and install it meticulously to do a job in a short amount of time. The workers are sincere, quick, hardworking and intelligent and they are friendly for sure.Scott himself personally came over and installed back the door and took care of any issues with windows and blinds. I like that Scott helped with finding a matching tile for me, and came up with a solution to cut the tiles as the exact size tiles were not available.This is not one of those companies where you pay them money and they vanish and just send in workers. Both Scott and Mike personally visited the place and clarified many of my questions. I even was able to consult Scott on some paint jobs and he helped with giving me some tips on how to do it correctly including choosing the paint color and wall chip for color matching. To me this was very high value as my time was quite limited since I need to find tenants soon, and having his advice to make the right decisions helped me to get other work done smoother.I highly recommend this company. Do not fall for the large big box companies who sell everything from chewing gum to laundry appliances to get your flooring done. You need a floor specialist and that is why you need Floor Coverings International.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Chip was fantastic. Once our selections were made for both carpet and a gym floor everything was coordinated seamlessly. We were kept updated throughout the process. Happy with our selections and the quality. Highly recommend FCI !

Beautiful job and I am so happy with my new floors! They even replaced the thresholds because my old ones in no longer match. And they finished everything in one day!
