- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For general handyman services I price $90/hr for tasks like: furniture/equipment assembly, art/picture/TV hanging and fixing small issues. For larger renovation or restoration projects I offer a free virtual consultation or *********************** to make sure I'm the right fit for the project and can get a quote within 24hrs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For handyman services all it takes is a message with a description of the project needed to be completed and a photo of the space or furniture/equipment that needs to be taken care of. For larger renovation or restoration I like to get on a video call to see the project that is being discussed and make sure I'm the right fit. If its decided that it's the right project for me, I will come out to the space and inspect to put together a project quote, work plan and schedule that aligns with the clients needs. Then it's off to work!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've received on the job training mentoring to be a contractor from my uncle, a 40 year veteran GC. I have college degree in fine arts and during my time in the college art studio under the guidance of trained professors, received training in the use of commercial power tools & equipment that has been invaluable to this day in working to solve problems on the jobsite.
