I'm an investor and these guys have worked on multiple properties for me. One of the most professional contractors I've worked with. They'll talk to you straight and their pricing is very reasonable. If they don't have expertise with something they're honest and will advise you to go somewhere else. Highly recommend them!

Thumbtack says they do $50 estimates, no no no, that's just what they charge to go OUT TO THE PROPERTY. Then they charge you $200 for estimate

Hi Chase, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately your request came in the wrong category and also came in for areas that we mentioned we do not service. We did discuss all of the details on the phone before I sent out the invoice to you, it was a good thing you reached out to clarify before we actually went to the job site. Once we clarified the misunderstanding (your location we did not service and the price point was above where you expected) we were able to cancel the request for you. For anyone reading this review - we did not actually do any business with Chase and the request was submitted under the wrong category. Chase was looking for a home inspection which is usually around a $250 charge vs a homeowner looking to get a quote at their home which is a $50 estimate - both are refundable if we end up doing the work. It was very disappointing to see Chase leaving a negative review without even having done business with us.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$50 On-site estimate is for homeowners and renters only who are actively living at the property. For investors who are looking to acquire new properties or for full scopes, please see our home inspection services for $250 (pending property size and location). Discounts and rebates offered for institutional investors.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For homeowner and renters, we will come out and do an on-site estimate and discuss the project. If the customer decides not to go with our bid for the project, we will send out an invoice for the trip fee/estimate, otherwise it will be credited towards the job! For investors, we usually ask for 50% deposit up front before completing a home inspection.
