Introduction
I personalize each lesson to each student. Not everyone thinks the same way. So I find creative ways to explain technique and theory to each individual student. I thoroughly enjoy watching each student learn and progress as cellists, and musicians. I also offer GROUP lessons (Chamber music). This provides a quality orchestra experience, not many private teachers can offer. Currently my studio only has 2 spots left, please contact me ASAP to reserve your FIRST COMPLIMENTARY lesson! I look forward to meeting you!

Rachel Harris is absolutely wonderful!🎻🎶 I’m so grateful that I found her and can have such a great time at lessons every week! She’s always focused on her students during each lesson and I love that she always encourages us to be positive! I’m truly thankful to have found someone that is open, friendly, and who really cares for her students! She’s truly the best!🎶💕

I am an adult beginner and have been taking cello lessons from Rachel for about half a year now. I love learning from her and I think students get an excellent value for their tuition. She holds a group lesson every month where all of her students play together and perform which is really unique and wonderful. Her individual lessons are wonderful and she really goes above and beyond to help you okay you're best, helping with musicality and understanding the cello and music. A great thing about Rachel is her ability to teach a variety of levels and abilities. She doesn't make you feel like you feel like a child even if you are a beginner. On the flip side, from the little I've her of her lessons with kids and from the attitudes of her younger students at group lessons, I can tell she also is good with kids and helps then to feel happy and confident on their instruments. She teaches cello, violin, and viola.

I have been taking lessons from Rachel now for a few months since finding her on Thumbtack. I couldn't be happier with my experience with her. As an adult learner, she has done great at adapting to my needs and helping me learn at my pace. I would definitely recommend her.

Rachel is amazing! Talented, a patient instructor. So glad we chose her. We drive from Sugarhouse and the location is a quick drop off the highway, so easily accessible. Would recommend her to anyone!
