I initially approached Tara for assistance in choosing paint colors for my new home, with the intention of repainting the entire interior, including ceilings, walls, trim, and cabinets. During our collaborative session, Tara attentively listened to my ideas and skillfully guided me in selecting exquisite colors. Impressed by her creative vision, I expanded our collaboration to encompass new hardware and lighting choices. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our initial consultation will be a 2 hour minimum meeting for $300. Further time will be billed at $150 per hour. Pricing for further services varies.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a 2 hour $300 consultation to meet you in your space and learn what your needs are. We will discuss many design solutions and sources in that 2 hours. If you need further design work like floor plans, layouts, or a 3-D model we will make a plan for our next steps.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a CIDA accredited degree in Interior Design, and will be completing my NCIDQ certification in 2023. I have had many years of hands on experience renovating homes and consulting home owners in making the right decisions for their homes.
