FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard Piano Tuning Service is appropriate for pianos that have been tuned in the past two years. Pianos that have not been tuned in the last couple of years often require a pitch raise. We call this service a Piano Tuning+. We are only offering this discounted rate for first time customers scheduling through Thumbtack with Mark and is only applied to the Standard Piano Tuning or Piano Tuning+ services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will need your first and last name, address, email and a phone number to make the reservation. Please also provide the kind of piano you have, how long ago it was last tuned (approx.), and any other issues that need to be addressed with the instrument. When you request an appointment. Our team will reach out for these details and offer you appointment times based on Mark's current availability. If there is something that is needed above apprentice level, we will help you schedule the appropriate service with another technician and provide a pricing quote at standard rates. You will receive communication from Thumbtack, but will also receive our reminders and invoicing via email.
