Nic was absolutely wonderful!! My husband and I had assembled a very large and heavy IKEA wall shelf. We attempted to install ourselves but for the sake of safety and our marriage we opted to have someone else do it. I was very impressed with Nic’s ability to do it himself. He wanted to make sure the correct devices were used to hold the shelf safely and made 2 trips elsewhere (asking if that was ok first) to make sure it was perfect. I would hire him again without a doubt!!

I contacted KC Handyman Service for an installation of a new garbage disposer (provided by me). We agreed on price, day, and time. As the agreed-to date approached, I asked for a confirmation, but never received a response. As suspected, the agreed-to day and time came and went and nobody showed up or informed us about the inability to honor the commitment.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer I like to gain as much knowledge about the project before I ever come out. With technology today pictures and a brief explanation can often save the "come out and look at what you have". Not all projects can be handled that way, but most of the time I can arrive with the right tools to get things done the first time.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started working as a handyman while attempting to make some extra money. My love for working with my hands kind of took over and I started my own business shortly after that.
