We design and create each of our pieces for sale as well as do custom work for weddings, anniversaries, and birthday events or for those "just because" days as a special gift to yourself. About the Artists Brie'Denee was founded by Brittney Brownell and has become a business venture with her mother Carrie Windsor. Together, the two design and create elegant handcrafted jewelry. Brittney's passion for jewelry making began in high school after house sitting for her grandmother after years of dabbling in various artistic outlets such as pastel, watercolor, clay, and pencil drawing. Throughout, college she dabbled more in jewelry making but without the time needed to truly focus on her new artistic venture. Finally, she has been able to focus on her jewelry ideas and techniques. Carrie has also always been inclined toward the arts. Prior to jewelry making, she dabbled in scrap booking, interior design, and flower arrangements. Without Carrie, the wedding of her daughter Brittney would not have been so beautiful. As each woman's passion and creation grow, so do their talents blossom. Together, they begin on this journey of creative development, with the goal of making others feel cherished with their personalized and unique jewelry.

FAQs

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I completed a pendant not too long ago. It is a locket, the Carnelian and Smokey Quartz Filigree Locket. The back is several feet of hair fine wire coiled around a long piece of thicker wire for the base of the back photo frame. A large Carnelian cabochon was then set using the net bezel technique for the top photo frame. The filigree and Smoky Quartz accents were then added for some beautiful decorations to the piece. I just love this one. The Carnelian is a gorgeous shade of orange-red that is perfectly accented with the aged silver wire and the smoky brown gemstones. This particular piece took about 10 hours to complete with all the delicate and intricate wire work.
