I have several years' experience as a private music program administrator, where I was responsible for hundreds of students. Grant is an excellent teacher of any subject he is passionate about. Students who work with him can count on several things:
1. They will only learn in a way that works for them
2. They will have fun during lessons! He has a knack for making everyone laugh and feel at ease
3. Their skills will grow very quickly due to his understanding and caring for each individual person and his drive to affect everyone he meets positively
Grant has worked tirelessly on his musicianship and language skills and will work just as hard to teach anyone who is interested. I highly recommend him!

When I came to grant for lessons I could barely strum the guitar and I felt very frustrated trying to get started. Grant was always very patient and knew how to communicate with me in a way that I could understand the task at hand. The progress I have made while taking lessons with Grant is through the roof. He always has a very happy upbeat personality that makes lessons something I look forward to going to. If you have a child interested in guitar Grant will turn that interest into a passion!

Grant is great to work with! He is funny and personable. He instantly makes you feel comfortable and you can tell he loves what he does. Most importantly he cares a lot. He'll do whatever it takes to make sure you understand and are learning. He's definitely a great teacher to have!

Grant is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. It was an honor getting to work with him for the short time I did!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
30 minute lesson = $23
I do charge for drive time, as it requires time that could otherwise be used to give more lessons. Therefore if it would take me 30 minutes (there and back) to drive to your home, I would ask for double my usual rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start by asking plenty of questions. What motivates the student? What are their goals? What do they already know? What DON'T they want? What ideas have they not yet been exposed to? All these can lead to ideas to build an effective curriculum.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
