Absolutely great experience and could not be more thrilled with the outcome.We have a historic home that is on the Historical Register. Any outside improvements require a letter of appropriateness from the Historic Committee and a building permit from the city. Imperial Shed was able to design and build a shed that met the city requirements in addition to meeting the historic requirements. One of the included pictures shows the original carriage house from 1885. As you can see, the architectural designs are similar with the dormer roof matches one side of our home and the additional windows increase the amount of inside working light during the day. The siding matches close to the house and everything was painted to match. The floor is as solid as a concrete floor. No bounce or warping like you get from many sheds that are built on skids and delivered. We love the space and the total inside height of almost 14 feet. We also opted for 2 lofts that double the floor space in those areas.I cannot say how many people have stopped to check it out and ask about it. We do not have a lot of construction in our neighborhood so this has been quiet the buzz.

A buddy of mine referred Imperial Shed to me. I looked them up and got a quote and it was a great price compared to some of the others I got. I dont normally go with newer companies but I was glad I did. Simple 10x12 shed completely built in the quoted 2 day time frame. Quality materials and craftsmanship for a fair price.Thank you so much for my awesome shed and so sorry for working you in the 50 degree cold.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We figure out what size and type of shed you want and give a quote. If the quote is agreeable then we do a contract with a 50% deposit. At that time, the build date is set!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my ICC G13 General Contracting License and I have built many sheds.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I use to be a Plant maintenance manager at a place in Mission, KS. I worked there for 3 years. One day corporate came in and said they where shutting the place down and that we had about 6 Months until it closed. I decided I wanted to start up my own business and sheds came across my lap by chance. I started building sheds and I loved it!
