- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do take some insurances and several Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). EAP sessions are 45 minutes in length. Insurance sessions are 45-60 minutes in length. I have a sliding fee scale based on reported household income for those without insurance or those that wish to pay outright, these sessions based on the scale below are 60 minutes. Sliding Fee Scale for Counseling and Mediation per hour: In office 50,000 per year and under $80. 50,001 to 100,000 per year $120. 100,001 to 150,000 per year $160. 150,001 and above per year $200. I do have special packages for those paying out of pocket at the above rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the first session, I will hear your concerns and complete a thorough assessment. At that point, we will work together to identify the main issues in which you are wanting to see positive change.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed a Masters Degree in Counseling and Guidance. My undergraduate degree was a BA in Psychology. I have completed 3,000 supervision hours for Counseling and at least 300 hours of practicum for Substance Abuse Counseling. Additionally, I have completed 40 hours of Mediation Training. Through the course of my career, I have completed over another 600 continuing education hours on various counseling and mediation topics.
