Introduction
An initial consultation is free to ensure I am a good fit for you and/or your partner to reach your desired goals. I was a mechanic for 10 years in the Air Force and afterward with heavy equipment. I moved to sales in my 30s where I got further professional education in Trauma & Addiction. We have lived in China for five years and are now in the US. Unfortunately, I am not able to accept insurance at this time. All services are private pay. A bit about my approach to growth, trust, and healing. "Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." ~Howard Thurman My goal as a counselor and coach is to help clients achieve their personal, relational, and professional goals. The first step in achieving these goals is to get crystal clear on what they are. I limit the number of clients I take on to ensure that each client receives personalized attention. Everyone asks counselors and coaches, "What is wrong with me/us/them?" My approach is to help people who struggle with different areas of their lives understand that nothing is inherently wrong with them. Rather, most of us have outdated defense mechanisms that no longer serve us as they once did. These mechanisms helped us survive in the past, but now we need to acknowledge them, engage with them, and let them go. This process takes a lot of courage, grace, and hope, but it is essential for moving forward into truth, power, and passion. Engaging in this deep work is the foundation for personal growth and transformation which is essential for healthy relationships. Couples are designed to be allies, and it is possible to get there. Understanding and letting go of our old defense mechanisms allows us to move past our limitations and embrace our full potential. If you are ready to embark on this journey of self-discovery and personal growth, I am here to help. At the core of my approach is promoting hope and empathy for ourselves and others. We are all doing our best and want others to see and treat us this way. I strive to help my clients develop a positive outlook on life. As a certified addiction therapist, my expertise greatly influences my counseling and coaching style, particularly in individual and couples counseling. I specialize in coaching individuals on mental health, life and career changes, and entrepreneurial endeavors: and in my work with couples, I maintain a commitment to helping partners break through the blocks they have to reach the intimacy and joy they know in their hearts is possible. My ultimate goal is to see individuals fully engaged with their passions and living their lives to their fullest potential. I am passionate about helping men and women achieve this and positively impact the world around them. Contact me today to learn more about how I can help you achieve your goals. Note About my Services and Client Expectations: Counseling and coaching are professional investments for both parties. As a result, no results can be guaranteed. Therefore, I do not expect long-term contractual commitments where the client is locked into a financial commitment. My services are paid for after each session. At this time I do not accept insurance for services provided.

Jonathan is a consummate professional who is always happy to help. He was invested in making sure I got the best value possible out of our arrangement and tangibly improving my life. There were even several times that our time was up but he insisted on going above and beyond to make sure I understood anything. I am very grateful and cannot recommend him highly enough. He continues to check in on me unprompted and makes sure I am on track to meet my goals. Hire Jonathan and you won’t regret it.

Let’s just say I’ve had a lot of therapists in my life. And I can say without a doubt that Jonathan is special. My husband and I have been seeing him for couples counseling. First, he was the first person to call me back out of the many I reached out to. And I mean within minutes of my outreach. Then, he talked to me for a long time for free to see if it was a good fit. The conversation was a true connection, and I could tell that he really cares about what he’s doing, and that he has the gift. He does this cool thing where one week he sees us together and the next, he sees us individually. I really like his philosophy of each of us doing the deep work on ourselves in order to bring everything we’re capable of to the table in marriage. He has insights and relatability, he’s very smart and funny, and most of all, we leave therapy on good footing, as opposed to in an argument like we did with previous therapists. He makes you think more deeply about yourself, always asks the best questions that really get to the root of the issue. His experience and knowledge really shine, he’s a tremendous listener, and he remembers details of things we said weeks ago. We always feel so much better after seeing Jonathan, and we truly look forward to each session. The guy is worth his weight in gold. I can’t recommend him highly enough! Jonathan, our gratitude for your care is endless, and thank you is not enough!
