FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While I do have set pricing for services, I am willing to talk about pricing and other options there as I do have some flexibility. My thought is, if someone really wants me to shoot their event I will do everything in my power to ensure it happens and to try find a solution that works for both parties. Everyone deserves good photography!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Something I'm really proud of is the fact that most of my photography and media ability is self taught! A lot of my work and skill comes simply from years of hard work, practice, taking risks awhile also studying the best in the business and learning how to emulate their caliber of work. I have taken a few photojournalism courses at the University of Minnesota with an amazing Pulitzer Prize winning photographer but outside of that, it's just a lot of experimenting, learning and always realizing there is more room to grow.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find an individual you really, actually like as a person! This is so important for every interaction but especially for events like weddings, senior photos, etc. If you don't enjoy being around that person and if you don't feel comfortable with them it will show in your photographs! You want to find someone you trust and genuinely would want to have around/as part of your day!
