As a certified personal trainer continuing education is a mandatory requirement to remain certified. I just recently acquired my continuing education cert in balance training, performance cardio, flexibility training and neuromuscular stretching.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved working out and being active! My first thoughts of getting into the health and fitness industry came when I first started working out. I saw changes and progressions like crazy and was immediately intrigued! The more I read and researched the more I realized how amazing the human body was and what it was truly capable of! I've always wanted to help people and I knew this was my opportunity. Everyone deserves to be happy and healthy and unfortunately there's a jungle of information out there that weeding through can be near impossible. I decided I wanted to make healthier, happier living an easier act than its turned into. Providing people with the right knowledge and the most efficient programming to succeed in whatever their health and fitness goals are!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Many of my clients have been weight loss clients or clients that wish to firm up or tone and define their figure. However, I have worked with many athletes in hockey, volleyball, basketball, football, baseball and golf! As well as, working with bodybuilders and clients wanting to gain muscle or even improve running times. Whatever your health and fitness goals are I am more than confident in helping you achieve them!
