FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Some pricing is negotiable based on your project. I recommend a meeting in studio to discuss your project in detail. I'm also available to discuss your project via Zoom if you are located outside of the Twin Cities Metro area.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For Headshot clients I like to present at least 2 pricing packages, then discuss what exactly your needs are. Each Headshot session is custom to you. This is a creative process, so we can be as creative as you like or need. For Commercial work it is recommended that we set up at least one meeting prior to scheduling your shoot date. This way we will be able to discuss your end goal needs, and specific images that will be created for your business. During your meeting a rough draft will be created for your shot list. Post meeting a detailed email will be sent to you covering the meeting, what your needs are, and what you would like to see in your final images to ensure that we have the same vision creatively. Once your post meeting notes are reviewed, the shot list for your shoot day is composed. This will be a minute by minute detail of how the work will be completed based again on your needs and delivered via email. Commercial meetings are typically 30 minutes to an hour, onsite and allow for me to review your facility for lighting. Should your project be completed in the studio a phone call to discuss your project will suffice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended a progressive Art High School in St. Paul. There, I learned photorealistic oil painting and film photography. Each student that attended this school was selected based on ability. I went on to obtain my AA in Multi-Media Design and Web Development from Rasmussen College. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and received several Honors and Deans List awards for my participation and grades. Because of my background in film and graphic design I can easily create composite images, displays, and advertising images for you and your company!
