James was great to work with. We hired him to do some porch work. Rotten columns and railings, and half the floorboards. We had delays due to crappy spring weather, and mill work that we waited on, but James kept us up to date and was transparent in what was going on. The final product looks great and we are very happy with how it ended up!

Asked for the guy to fix our back door that was kicked in. I asked for it to be replaced. My spouse was home and trusted the guy when he said he would cut out the broken part and replace it then put a metal door plate over for security. ($20 part according to him) He ended up glueing together the door and placing the panel over it- the split wood is still there. I care who you are- it’s clearly not what I asked for. I could have done that. I hired him to do the job right- and make it look good and a professional job. We paid $200 bucks for a panel to be screwed in- the guys was gone 2 hours to pick up a door plate. we live 5 min from Menards on university. I dont know why I trusted this to be done right while I was at work- I was very clear on n my hiring post that I wanted it done, right. what a rip off - dont bother with this guy. he did 15 min of work and made $180 buck for a job I now have to rehire for!

We work by the job or hourly. hourly work has a 3hour minimum. we discount labor 15% (Good guy discount)

When needed we do free onsite estimate. Once the estimate is accepted, we schedule the job and order materials when we receive 30% of the cost up front.
