FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'd love it if my customers give me the numbers of items they need (bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, etc) because that helps me give them an accurate quote right away. I don't charge for in-person consultations, but I do have a $100 charge for delivery, setup, and take down. And if you sign with me at that first consultation, one of your bridesmaid bouquets is free (weddings over $800), or the mother's corsages are free (weddings under $800)!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer meeting with the potential client early in the process, so we can establish the concept, scope and vision for the event. I discover what the client likes and dislikes, and their budget. We work together to get everything just right.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of experience in floral arranging, formal and informal. My teachers have been those who are successful commercial florists, experienced horticultural judges, and my own independent study. Aside from horticultural and environmental science interests, I'm also a PhD medicinal chemist.
