FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally we charge a base of $10 for mounting an item which includes the first 10,000 stitches. After the first 10,000 we charge $1 per 1,000 stitches. If you have a design that needs to be digitized we will do that for somewhere between $30 and $60 depending on the complexity. Most basic logos are done at the $30 price. If you have large quantities where the stitch count is low and the mounting is simple we have been known to negotiate lower pricing. However many of our projects are one or two items. We like those! But yes, we will do the larger quantities as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new customers we always like to have at least a phone conversation but better yet, a face to face meeting. Embroidery is very personal and getting a feel of what our customer wants, letting them pick things like exact font, colors, designs, placement is very important.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been doing embroidery for almost 20 years now, both as a hobby and professionally. Barb spent a number of years working in a retail operation which sold and trained in embroidery. Tom had digitized numerous items for both personal use (got a number of grand kids that have shirts, blankets, etc. with grandpa's custom digitization) as well as business use. We are ready to take on just about any project!
