FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be upfront, fair, and transparent about my fee. For a distance of over 20 miles I charge a trip fee of .70 cents/mile. With larger HVAC jobs, I charge $69 for the initial assessment, but if I am hired, I will waive that fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I value communication. Before committing to a job, I listen and ask questions. I make sure I understand the entire situation. I may ask for pictures, and often I appreciate talking on the phone because we can cover more ground than in messages. In some instances, I may need to come see the project space. Throughout the process I stay in close communication with my customers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Kaplan Real Estate Education for Housing Inspection, and from Dunwoody College of Technology in HVACR Installation. I apprenticed as an Inspector for Nifty Home Inspections. I also apprenticed for several years in the solar field with Jack Hanson solar. I have my Osha 30 card, and am a member of InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) A lot of what I know I've learned on the job because I always want to grow and ask questions.
