I really liked working with Deante. He gave us a thorough and reasonable line-item estimate. The project included: Remove carpet, linoleum and metal trim from basement stairs. Sand treads and risers. It was a messy and labor intensive job (you never really know what you’re getting into with old homes with layers of who knows what…). But, Deante was committed to it and followed through. We’re now figuring out next steps (paint, stain, stair runner…) We’ll definitely call on Hughes for future projects.
