Terry did a wonderful job for us with the planning of our front yard. She was super responsive and was super knowledgeable. She is punctual, easy to communicate and was cheap compared to some other companies we talked to. Just from talking to her you can tell that she is super passionate about what she does. We will hire her again for our project in spring.

Terry is great to work with, has very good knowledge on plants and gardening. She was very helpful in choosing the right plants for the right location (shade/sun/view…). She also came along to the plants store to suggest the best combination of plants that would give the right look. Very happy to work with Terry and would definitely recommend her.

I really enjoyed working with Terry. She listened to what I was trying to do to my landscaping project and responded with a beautiful and clever plan to add texture and color to my new garden. The plan lays everything out and is beautiful. Now on to installing this fabulous plan to make the gardens come alive. Terry is wonderful to work with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My labor is $70 per hour for gardening, weekly maintenance, planting seasonal containers, and Spring and Fall cleanups. This does not include materials such as plants, fertilizer, soil, etc. Landscape design and installation are priced individually because they vary from project to project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to respond promptly by phone or email. If that goes well, then I like to set up a meeting with the client at the work site to actually see the space and discuss the project they have in mind. We can then talk about their needs, how they want to be able to use the area, ideas, and wish list. From there we can discuss my suggestions and options and I can give them an idea of price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Degree in Horticulture, U of Guelph, Ontario. 30 + years experience in landscaping design/build in Minnesota, Brooklyn, NY, Naples, Florida, and California
