Hiring Dave for a plumbing job is like having a good old independent, highly competent, and experienced plumber from yesteryear work in your home. He does good solid work. Also like a dependable Minnesotan from a smaller town, he’s a man of few words. When he was done, he gave me my invoice, I paid, and he departed. He told me to see the manual about interacting with the system. He didn’t like it when I subsequently texted him questions about just how far he went in the manual in terms of system set-up and initiation. Had he spent 5 minutes with me when he was done and explained just what he had done, such questions would have been unnecessary. Life is filled with trade offs. Would I hire Dave again? Certainly. Only next time, I wouldn’t let him out of the house before he answered my lingering customer questions. 🙃

Did a great job at assessing the situation and locating the ideal spot for my water softner according to my piping situation. Made sure everything was complete with no leaks and took time to do a quick run down of the system. Also indulged my cat with a little play time.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Service calls-$95 Parts are extra if necessary. Need your old softener replaced? Very good Pentair Fleck 5800sxt $1225. plus tax installed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is best if I can communicate directly with the customer to discuss their specific situation. Phone is best because texts and emails usually take quite a few back and forth sends to cover the situation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes annually. State required continual education.
