Work with Vlad!!! He and his team just finished a complete bathroom remodel for us, and the pictures say it all! Well not everything, because Vlad and the guys were always on time, always very careful not to make messes, and what I liked best is we always had an idea of what would get done that day and they were extremely patient answering our (many) questions and honoring our requests. The tile is all level, and they really planned out how they laid it, so there were minimal small pieces and that it was balanced and true to pattern. Definitely recommend getting a shower niche! I reached out to Vlad on Thumbtack, and had an estimate the next day. We worked out a schedule, and the job was finished on time! He and Anton both stayed late a few days so we could have a working bathroom before the weekend :-) We had a few issues in our old bathroom, when we bought the house the window frame was totally molded which Vlad added new framing and made it waterproof. When Vlad did demolition he discovered a leaky toilet had ruined the subfloor. I was panicked, but he said it would be no problem for him to fix! He used really high quality materials, and also helped us to choose the right tile etc. He also had a ton of cool tools, and because we are DIYers he also showed us how they worked and explained a lot of things to us, even loaned us a ladder one night to fix a basement light :-) He was really knowledgeable about design choices as well, and even ran to Home Depot to get us a caulk to match the grout because the one we chose was not a good match. We have a lot of other projects at the house, and Vlad also talked through them with us, told us about our options, gave good advice and even showed us how to fix some things. It was almost like having a brother/dad over at our house for the week remodeling with us! We are also working at home, and they warned us before loud noises. There’s also no mess left behind, nothing I wish was different, we love our bathroom! One more perk of working with Vlad is that he is willing to disconnect the toilet/sink, and has a plumber he works with who can install the tub. He didn’t push us to use the plumber, just offered if we didn’t have one, he knew a guy. The plumber was also awesome, on time, and did a great job! Vlad organizing that saved us a lot of work, and kept our project moving at lightning speed. I am sure there are a lot of tile guys out there, but I highly recommend Vlad for all of the above reasons! I have never been so impressed with anyone doing work in my house.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are determined by the size of project, my average price for a full remodel bathroom is $14.000-16.000.In this price includes demolition, dumpster, construction material (sheet rock, cement board, motor, etc). Installation of new plumbing, lights, tile, vanity, etc. at the end of the project I clean everything. Sometimes I do free of charge for installing a mirror, painting, (small things). Usually for second time clients I give discounts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A typical process working with a new customer is, talking with them for a bit asking what their project is about. After a bit of a chat, I ask for their ideas, opinions on the project and with my experience I know I usually would suggest my ideas and opinions of what they want. When I start the project sometimes when I'm working on something I would ask sometimes what they think of specific things in the project and give out my opinions on it as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Some training that relates to my work is wood working, working with doors, wood trims, etc. Which helped me learn new things.
