Working with Kim was a rewarding g experience. She was very knowledgeable in her abilities to research both of my families. She asked me questions in a timely manner and was quick in response if I had any questions for her. She was able to fi d photos, graveside, ship records of my family coming to America and so much more. I would recommend Kim to anyone searching for more family history. She knows her stuff!!! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $25 and hour with no minimum. Additional charges will include copies, postage. I will contact you prior to purchasing any certificates, etc. to make sure that is what you are looking for. I like to take a few minutes looking up your information to ensure that i will be able to complete your project. If I don't think I will be able to I will be upfront and suggest you find a researcher in your area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will be in contact with you either by email or phone. I will have several questions for you before I start. I will do a preliminary search to ensure I can complete the project you are asking to be complete. We will agree on how many hours you would like me to work on your tree. Once I have completed the hours I will contact you with what I have and if you want me to continue I will and if not then I will provide you all electronic copies of the work I completed and mail any hard copies if there are any
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Is started over 20 years ago doing my family tree. Over the years I have worked on multiple sides of my paternal and maternal sides of the family. I have written 3 family history/genealogy books on my family.
