FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
*$225.00 includes all wedding prep, travel, **rehearsal , the wedding it self, and the paperwork. And for $75.00, I do an marriage preparation program through Prepare/Enrich, if you are interested. If you live in MN, and have finished this course, you will get a $75 discount on you marriage license. *Prices for weddings in the cities are negotiable. **if the rehearsal is a different day than the wedding and if the rehearsal is outside the cities, I have to add a $25.00 fee for lodging, this is negotiable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually connect with email or phone. If it is possible I will get together to help me get to know you. If you are out of town, we can do most of it by email and phone and maybe some kind of screen time (Zoom has become a great tool) if you want, or we can meet half way (depending on the distance). My goal is to help you create the ceremony, however simple or intricate you want.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Theology with an education concentration, A certificate in Catechetical Ministry, and a minor in Latin from the College of St Catherine. I have a MA in Systematic Theology with emphasis on World Spiritualities fro St Catherine University. I also have 15 years of experience working in liturgy in the Catholic Church which has given me a very good sense of the meaning of ritual. This does not mean that I only do Christian weddings though, but with that training, I can give you a ritual that is meaningful, whether religious of secular. I also have been train to facilitate the Prepare /Enrich marriage prep. I lover doing this with couples and wathcing them discover new things about their partner.
